According to the records for this year, Facebook’s official page has got 46,194,601 likes as of Wednesday. Coming in close at second place is Zynga’s Texas Hold’em Poker page with 45.78 million – which shows how much the world loves poker. Eminem (42.05 million), YouTube (40.44 million) and Lady Gaga (39.49 million) round up the top 5 list.

Other Facebook “Like”-related entries that made it into this year’s records include: most likes on a Facebook item: the official page for Lil Wayne had a post that has 668,198 likes. The page also holds the record for most likes on a Facebook item in 24 hours – 588,243 on February 15^th. The Frito-Lay US page holds the record for the most likes in 24 hours: 1,571,161 likes from April 11 through 12. Anybody out there close to achieving that many likes?
